We had a great team of 10 gardeners give up an hour of their time on a Sunday morning to re-invigorate the planting in the planters along Cumbernauld Road. With the expertise of local resident, Gary Rankin from dear green space, the planters are looking in tip top condition. Stepps Community Development Trust hopes this makes the trip to our local businesses a little more attractive.
Having entered into a participation request with North Lanarkshire Council, Stepps CDT plan to maintain the planters twice yearly. We want to thank all the gardeners who helped out. We are always looking for volunteers to help our efforts in the neighbourhood. So do get in touch at steppscdt@gmail.com if you are interested.
