There was an amazing turn out for Stepps Community Development Trust first litter pick in the area surrounding Stepps train station, with support from local Scouts, Stepps Fire Station crew, Cardowan Community Meadows and Stepps & District Community Council.
Within an hour over 20 bags of rubbish were collected making a visible difference to the pavements and verges along Cardowan Road and Kirkpatrick Drive. This put Stepps on the #CleanUpScotland map as part of Keep Scotland Beautiful's #SpringCleanScotland.

Anyone interested, we are meeting again on Thursday 7 April 6:30-7:45pm at Stepps Primary School to tackle the rubbish in the wooded area parallel to the school.
